A Grand Day of GIS

The GRCA (Grand River Conservation Authority) hosted a speaker's forum in December bringing together several groups to share what they have been working on as well as tips and tricks. Presenters from the City of Guelph, Centre Wellington, Brant County, City of Cambridge, City of Kitchener, City of Waterloo, Waterloo Region and the GRCA kept the afternoon and information flowing. Let us know if you would like to host a similar event in your area.

GoGeomatics November social was held at The Huether Hotel November 14, 2018. There was a small but mighty turnout for the event from a variety of geomatics industries.

K-W GoGeomatics May Speaker Series, May 15th 2019

Time:  6:30 PM
Place: Huether Hotel, 59 King St N ยท Waterloo, ON (We will be in the Barley Works Operations Room)

Join us for our May social event where one of our members, David van Riel, will be speaking on how the City of Kitchener has been implementing the digital submission of various features from development consultants over the past few years.

The social this month will take place at The Huether Hotel on Wednesday May 15, 2019 at 6:30pm. We will be in the Barley Works Operations Room.

Everyone is welcome, from all areas of geomatics - from GIS, to remote sensing, to surveying, to cartography, to GIS enthusiasts. If you are involved in location technology you are invited.

This fun free networking event will be an opportunity for people in the community to develop new relationships, learn more about current activities, technologies and success stories, and gain insight into the many advanced applications in Canada’s most advanced hi-tech region.
